"The likeness of those who are entrusted with the Law of Moses, yet apply it not, is as the likeness of the ass (keldai) carrying books. Wretched is the likeness of folk who deny the revelations of Allah. And Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk."
(62:5;Al-Jumuah)
Based on the above ayah ;
"A donkey only knows how to carry al-Quran and the books on its back, but so little does it know, or it does not have the interest to know the meaning"
This ayah tells us about a person, having knowledge, but does not practice it. That person is equalized with a donkey carrying thick books but does not understand, or even know the content of the books.
Hence, whatever knowledge we have need to be performed as had we learned it. The precious information we have must not carry it for the sake of exams or certificates only. When we do what we know, it will cultivate something useful to happen, the reverse will happen if we do not.
