Recipe - Sweet Spicy Rice Cake (Deobbokgi)

Assalamualaikum, Annyeongg!!!!

Since i like to eat sweet PLUS spicy food, so i have found the delicioussssss korean food which is called deobbokgi. It is healthy because it has vegetable, protein, and carbo. Complete set.


Ingredients :
  1. Rice flour 2 cups
  2. Salt 1/2 tsp
  3. Boiling water 1 cup
  4. Oil
- Combine and mix all rice flour, salt, and boiling water.
- Put in the pre-heat steamer over high heat for more than 30 minutes
- Spread the oil on the board and pound for 5 min or until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Shape it cylindrical and cut according to your preferred size.
- Gently cover the rice cake with oil to prevent them from stick to each other. and put in plastic bag in freezer if you want to use it later.


Ingredients :

  1. Chili sauce and tomato sauce 3 tbsp
  2. Red pepper paste 2 tbsp
  3. Honey 2 tbsp
  4. Sugar 1 tbsp
  5. Soy sauce 1 tsp
  6. Onion 3 biji -  tumbuk sampai hancur
  7. Oil 1 tbsp
  8. Black peppers 5-10 biji
- Mix everything under heat and until it thicken. Serve with boiled egg and vegetables. I like 'salad kerinting a.k.a. you mak chye'. Since I'm living in country where all of veges and fruits  has been named in Chinese!!!! hahahaha

The sauce it too dark because i have added extra soy sauce..
Sorry cause I mix up english and malay. I am not so rajin to google and find the translation in english.hahaha
